Santa Maria High School Malang Spend Two Weeks in P-WEC Learning Nature Conservation

Between 18th and 30th July 2011, students from Santa Maria High School of Malang City, East Java had educational and outbound programmes of nature conservation in Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC). They learned about nature in fun and adventurous games and activities like river pollution games, tree watching, bird watching, and habitat and wildlife games.

Students were excited following the activities which were led by P-WEC experienced facilitators. Most students felt happy especially during a blind-fold game to look for flags where they had to work together with their groups to achieve the goals. A representative from the school teachers told P-WEC that the school was thankful and planned to hold similar programme regularly because nature conservation is an important subject which is delivered in fun ways in P-WEC.
