Bird Watching

Bird Watching

Guided by P-WEC facilitators, participants can have 'nature trail' to watch various tropical rain forest birds in R. Soerjo botanical park. Some of the birds are the endangered Javan hawk-eagle, the colourful barbets, Javan whistling thrush, and many more. It is recorded that there are more than 80 species of wild bird in the forest.

Participants can optionally have bird watching in the area of P-WEC's centre. They can watch the olive-backed sunbirds, the scarlet-headed flowerpeckers, and many more. During the birdwatching, participants can also have fun with the outdoor jungle games.
