Media roles in wildlife conservation could support wildlife conservation efforts or, on the other hand, oppose the works.

In order to stimulate the application of environmental education at schools, Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC) held a capacity building workshop for teachers on environmental education.

Every year, ProFauna's education center named Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC) always invites the children in need to have the nature education at the center and receive donation.

Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC) has been chosen by the Fishery Faculty of Brawijaya University – Class of 1984 Alumni to hold their reunion because of P-WEC's natural atmosphere. The event organizer hoped that by the participants would enjoy the special ambiance offered by P-WEC. It has been proved that all participants enjoyed the activities led by P-WEC while they were memorizing their college time back then.

Training of Nature and Wildlife Conservation (better known as PEKA-SL) held in Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC) from 8 to 10 June 2012, had attracted dozens young people from many regions and universities in Indonesia.

Some students in Malang Regency were amazed by the Venus crossing the sun on Wednesday, 6th June 2012. The stargazing was led by educators of Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC) from the center's solarscope.

Saturday, 5^th May 2012; the third grade students of an elementary school called Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Tunjungsekar 1 Malang; visited ProFauna's education center or Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC). There were 78 children of 8 to 9 years old learning about nature conservation in the center and having fun at the same time.

"Yay! Let’s go to the woods!", the local children of the villages nearby P-WEC (Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center), ProFauna’s education center, exclaimed when they were told that P-WEC team would take them to the Bedengan Woods on 26 April 2012.

Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC) commemorated the Earth Day on 22 April by holding a training of plastic waste recycling for the villagers of the villages nearby the center.

P-WEC (Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center), ProFauna's education center, was attended by 25 kindergarten teachers on 9 - 11 March 2012 to have fun outbound and internal activities. The outbound which was facilitated by P-WEC's experienced members, consisted of teamwork building and communications games.
